fire ants!!!!

You will just never believe what I learned about ants at the ball park last week.
My 2 boys play pee wee football. Some of you might have read some of my experiences there in another article. LOL
Well misbehaving kids are not the only misery at the ball park. LOL
No matter where you put your chair in the 106 degree sun the ants are just awful. I am covered in those little blisters that fire ants leave on my feel ancles and legs. One even made it to my upper thigh!! Ouch!
A lady there watching her son play came over and sprinked the ground at our feet with "Shower to Shower" You know the talc powder that you see on those commercials.
Now it seems "Shower to Shower Each Day Keeps the Ants AWAY"! I am very pleases to announce that this did work! All of you poor parents doomed to sit out there in the heat like I do to watch my kids play ball---Now you do not have to be eaten alive by fire ants.

Thanks for the tip. I have many mounds of fire ants around my house and my son loves to play outside but I heard too many bites from those little bugers could actually kill you.So I will bye some shower to shower and see what happens. I've been bit by them and I feel your pain. Again,thanks for the tip.

Its amazing the silly little things that help. I know my grandmother found that skin so soft by avon keeps mosquitos away. It smells really good too. Fire ants can definitely be miserable. Fortunately for me I will have a few years before my kids are big enough for sports.
