You have probably heard the tip where you put the food dish inside of a secondary dish filled with water.
Here is a new tip. sprinkle the ground with baby powder all around where you are setting the food dish. Ants will not cross the powder. No need to over do it.. Don't want the dogs to enhale or eat the powder. All you need is a light cote.

I sprinkle it all around my feet while sitting out doors and the ants never bother me. My friend sitting near me was having a terrible problem with the ants. I sprinkled the powder at her feet and the ants left her alone. Amazing! This is great if you are camping or somewhere that you cannot put out poison. Drive ine movies, little league ball park, etc....

Thanks for the tip!
If this really works, it would really helped to keep the many ants we have in my home away from where I don't want them to be! Lol.
But, I am puzzled, why would ants keep away when baby powder is spread?
