Vacation cities!

I'm planning on taking a trip to the states in 2 weeks and i was just curious as to where would be the best place to go to get my money's worth? i've been thinking of vegas to gamble, cali or florida for the beaches and new york for the shopping but i'd love someone else's opinion regarding this subject!

Oh come to Chgo. Our museums are great,the lakefront i beautiful. We have amusement parks (Great America). I think we are very friendly. Navy Pier has alot of things for you to do. Go Downtown and see Millenium Park, The Bean,beaches,theatres. It really is a nice city. There of course are many ethic areas too-Chinatown,Grrektown,Little Italy,Ukrainian Village,Pilsen. We are a melting pot. I hope you have a nice vacation where ever you choose to go.
