Renaming the Start Menu

I have heard somewhere that you can actually rename the START menu in your computer but since my Operating System is Vista, I only have a circle as icon. Does anyone here know how to rename the start icon in XP or lower versions?

I also use vista, but it fine with me, i dont want to mess so much w/ the settings coz they might take space so i prefer it to be as simple as i can, but good for you. express yourself with your computer! 1

Use any resource tuner applications and then edit explorer and rename the start button name
