Has a job ever changed your attitude?

I have worked for the same company for the last five years. I have transfered departments once (Climbing the coporate ladder) I moved from one of the field offices to head quarters. I have found that since the move people are just evil. My manager is a real piece of work, she plays favorites recently she and her boss decided I was did not deserve the promotion for the job I have been doing for the past seven months. Som instead I have been booted from my station to a desk on the floor. I tend to keep to myself and do my work like a good little worker bee. I understand that the world is a cruel place but it doesn't have to be. Lately I have found my attitude changing and my thoughts are negative. I recall being at this point when I worked fast food. Doesn't seem any different in the corporate world I'm still picking up someone else's trash. I am doing my best to remain positive

I can know what you feel. My dream is going to be a teacher of my major. But now I was forced to be a teacher of my loath major. Most times I can't feel I am real. I lose my ambition about my job and I feel I am so upset. In the past, I treat my dream with my whole heart, however, now, I can't do my part to finish my teaching job. It's a sad thing, isn't it?

Yeah it is sad, you work hard only to see others rewarded. Never stop dreaming though, it's what keeps us youthful!

You are soo right. At my job they pick favorites too and they pick on the ones that make the mistakes. I hate when the world works like that. Hope you're job gets better for u though.

I understand how you feel, my attitude changed too, after they put me on the graveyard shift, with no say so in the matter, they lied, said I had the least senority which, I don't and know I don't. I just said the heck with it, I don't want nothing from those creeps, but my paycheck, I don't want no company dinners, no bithday dinner, or cards, nothing they have to offer but my paycheck. I have come to the conclusion that the Motto: is MANAGEMENT DOES WHAT THE H%% MANGEMENT WANTS TO DO. Even the supervisors said that they don't understand it themselves.
