How many of you mylotters meet "friends" online, never actually see them and feel like you have a very strong relationship? I'm just worried that all of our new technology that seduces us to sit in our houses day and night has drawn us away from actually doing everything the way that takes more effort. What happened to just running into someone at the store? People can buy groceries online. What happened to actually writing a letter to someone or picking up the phone to call? Now they text and email. Known as the "quicker" way. I've noticed in the last few years that no one has true friends any more unless you grew up with someone or it's family. No one takes the time to put out an effort anymore to have friends. What are we in such a hurry for?.......To die?.....To make more money that we never have time to spend? Is it just me or is everyone in a hurry to get nowhere?

Well I do. lol. I have a lot of online friends. I spend more time with my online friends rather than with my 'offline friends'. Its actually fun engaging in discussions with my online friends but I have never neglected the 'real' people/ friends I have in life.
I guess that's what technology does. :P
