Hi. I am from Malaysia and in my country a new film had just been launched. It is called SUSUK. It is a mystical film and it involves the practice of shaman. People who want to be famous, or want to be a DIVA, admired by everybody will go to the Shaman For Susuk. The shaman will implant gold needles, diamonds or any other substance according to the needs of the client. The greatest Susuk of all is called the Susuk Keramat, and the person wearing it must sacrifice a number of human lives to maintain her/his beauty, youth, popularity, etc. The main role is played by Ida Nerina, her name in the film is Rozana. She is brilliant, and she is my idol. I salute to the director of this film, and every single body who were involved in making this film. If I have to rate, I will give 4.5 stars according to the local standard.
To me, this film opened the local community's eyes about the superstitious practices that is still goint on until now. But I am afraid that after this, there will be many people who will be encouraged to wear susuk, because they are influenced by the film. Even though the film had shown whomever wears susuk will get a bad omen, but I believe there are still stubborn people who don't care about those consequences.
So, what do you think?
