I just became a Mommy and I'm afraid of my son's future...

Hi, i gave birth almost 4 months ago to a wonderful baby boy. I'm hand-ons with him, from feeding,diaper change to taking him a bath. He's growing up too fast too soon, Im afraid of his future, I know i have a job and so does my husband. But because of the rise in consumer goods, gas etc. our jobs still pays the same and can't hold on for long. Right now, i'm looking for additional income to sustain our necessities. I can't help think about his needs, going to school, etc. privates schools are expensive, public schools are not reliable to teach in my country.sigh! i'm a worried mom. Please help!

all of the mothers felt the fear that you do, just put in your mind that as long as you are beside your son and your future children, supporting and loving them, you will feel secure in rearing them. I hope that it will help..

Hi there Fresh Soda!
I think that it's pretty normal to be scared for your child's future especially nowadays, with the current economic conditions. But I think that the only thing that we can do is do our best to prepare for our child/ren's future. You're doing the right thing which is looking for more extra jobs.

yeah, im trying to produce more income, even going thru the net and joining MyLot, just to cope up, if this works, it could really add up from what we are earning. From diapers et al... thanks jaded22!

Im sure your not the only one worried about the future of todays kids. Dont worry too much people will always survive no matter how difficult the time being is.
Frankly I am also afraid of what will happen to my kids but this is life and we should go through and pass this process. Every person experience this kind of situation well unless they inherit something or was already born with dollars on their hand. Just relax and try figuring something more efficient to earn.
