Lip Ring

I have been thinking about getting my lip pierced for a while now, but I kinda wanted to know the pain level of it. I have my nose pierced and that didn't bother me and I've had my cartilage pierced 3 or 4 different times. I guess regardless of the pain I would be able to handle it. I also have 3 tattoos: one on my wrist, one in the center of my back, and one on the back of my neck.
So, do have an idea of how much it hurts? And is it hard to take care of?

I think the worst place to pierce are the nipples..I have pierced my nose,tounge,lip,eyebrow,ears,navle and my both nipples and the nipples was the worst,especially the right one.
It feels like you get an injection with a thicker cannula in your lip but it goes so quick and the pain is not so terrible..the tounge is worse!!
It's better to have a staff than a ring from the beginning and for me it healed pretty quick.

I haven't had it done, but I do have a suggestion... there are videos on YouTube where you can watch how it's done. I watched a few when I thought about getting my industrial done. The pain didn't look too bad, but I realized that my ear is the wrong shape to get that part pierced.

If you can handle your nose, your cartilage and tattoos. Hunny you can handle a lip piercing. Remember it is only one poke and its over. Nothing major at all. If you can handle needles going in for tattoos being on the back and neck you can handle that. Go for it if you want it.
