have you ever afraid of deep water

I'm not scared swimming in the pool! I am not a good swimmer and I can't float for a long time! Swimming in the ocean is one of my biggest fear that I have to face it one day I'm always scared of the ocean because it is so massive that if I go further I wouldn't make it back to shore. If you wanna learn how to swim or be a good swimmer I think you a need a practise. Go for a swimming class or if you have a friend or family member that you consider a good swimmer ask them to teach you and try not to be so scared because it will be hard for them to teach you if you always feel scared, you have to trust them.

hi..im just concern..i think it is a phobia..maybe you had a bad experienced on waters..you can use a process called"desensitization"meaning..you slowly expose yourself in a water ...like beach or in a pool slowly or repeatedly until your not afraid anymore..and put in mind that its only a psychological effects of your mind..just think positive..and conquer your fear..:)

I am even afraid of jumping into knee-level water.I don't know how i developed such a fear.But it is very bad that i could not learn swimming due to that.

i am also afraid of deep water though i know how to swim. mainly because, i am not familiar with threading. but no matter how scared i am, i still swim :D

i dont know how to swim thats why im afraid of deep water. i dont like to swim in a beach. cause i always think of something that will bite me. a snake or jelly fish will sting me.
