forgiveness

if i hate some one. should i forgive him?

Hi. I have had to decide that issue too. My husband left me after 23 years of marriage. For a long time, I was so angry and I swore that I would never forgive him for doing that to me. But after 4 years of separation, he is finally doing what he is suppose to be doing with my son. I think I have finally forgiven him.

you should even if that someone did not ask for forgiveness. having hated someone is a burden within and you cannot find inner peace.

Yes, why not? If you hate a person, it would be better to forgive him rather going for a revenge or retailiatory action. You forgiving the other person would give you a kind of self-satisfying feeling that atleast, you did the 'right' thing. You are going to lose nothing, if you forgive anyone.

To me, if we hate someone there is no need of thinking of forgiving unless the other asked us to forgive. Better keep distance and avoid if we dont like. because it always creates discomfort for us and problem will be more in future.
