My husband and I tried that but it didn't work out too well. Mainly due to the fact that trust has been a huge issue for us. May work for some.

I think it is agreat way to buil the trust between a married couple. I let my husband go out and he lets me. We both have complete trust in eachother. That is very important in a marriage trust. Dont loose that.

I think it's good for couples (married or not) to have an evening out with their friends once in a while. It's a great stress relief! But, you also need to make time to go out with each other once in a while. That's one thing that's lacking in my marriage... alone time together.

I think that it is perfectly fine. There needs to always be trust in a relationship, or the relationship is going to face extremely tough times. Also, absence makes the heart grow fonder. Going out on a girsl/guys night out not only lets you have fun with your friends, but it also gives you a night to miss your mate, so when you see him/her it will be even better.
