Home Sweet Home!

Wow was a little surprised when I looked into the discussions under Nova Scotia and found none. Also that there were no photos posted. So I guess I'll be the first one to start this. And hopefully to add some pictures shortly, Nova Scotia is such a beautiful place! I'm leaving on the 15th to return to my home town which I haven't been to in 9 years, I miss it so much :-( As soon as the oppurtunity arised I jumped right on it, even though there were so may reasons why I shouldn't : gas prices, just started a fairly new job, am pretty much broke... lol the list goes on and on. But one thing out weighed everything else, my children. They are 6 and 2 and have never been there, never have met their great-grandparents, many aunts, uncles and cousins. So in my eyes that makes it worth it. We're driving down, four children all 6 and under and three adults so it should also be a a good test of patience, I'm sure we'll all be pulling our hair out by the time we get there but I bet as soon as the ocean comes into view we'll forget all about the stress of the last couple days. So my question is has anyone on MyLot been to Nova Scotia, or live there or have had to take a long road trip with a lot of kids and how did that work out?

I used to travel to Nova Scotia every summer with my dad- actually, we went to Cape Breton. I loved it, and loved the ocean. We went whale-watching once which was amazing. Love the place, and the people. I'm an American citizen but want to become a canadian citizen eventually and move there!
