verification process question

I made a personaly paypal account and was trying to verify it with a savings account but they kept asking for a bank transit and institution(something along those lines) number. Also i'm trying to verify it with my TD rebate rewards card.

I don't think you will be able to verify your paypal account with reward cards. The best thing to do is use a credit card or a debit card. Though on the first option, it may be difficult since credit card companies have certain requirements for you to be issued credit cards. If such is the case, then you can check out banks that offer debit cards. Debit cards are much easier to secure as compared to credit cards. Once you have it, you can have your paypal verified.

well one thing is, when i press add bank account, i choose savings. But it still looks for my bank transit and institution number or something. I know those are just for chequing accounts. Is it possible that that happens because i put the wrong credit card in?

i am sorry you cannot verify your paypal account with reward cards, all you need a credit card to do the work complete. so try to get some credit card and use it for verification. And i think there will no problem to add your saving account to your paypal it is so simple as that. All you need your account no. and some details like type of account, branch, and code for international transactions that will be provided by your bank. so try again. welcome to mylot, i hope you will have lot of fun here.
