Hi all
I am looking for a game with an enormous map.. A game where you can roam in and seek out different places.. Perhaps some RPG like game, if possible..
Let me give some examples of the game I am looking for: Oblivion,Morrowind,Knight of the old republic,...
I don't care about graphics or the age of the game.. Just a game that has a large map and where you can roam free in it..
Thx it would help me a lot :)

Hello,
if you like enormous maps, Oblivion & Morrowind and you don't care about graphics and age of game, you should try older installments from the Elder Scrolls series. Arena and Daggerfall, to be exact. There are still lot of people that declare them as theif favorite rather than the last two.
I don't know about compatibility though - maybe you'll need DosBox to run it (I am almost sure about Arena).
And for something different, did you ever tried some JRPG (Japanese RPG)?

Oh, there are lot of. Maybe the most famous is Final Fantasy series, "Tales" series (Tales of... Phantasia/...Destiny/...Mana etc.), Dragon Warrior/Quest, Star Ocean... just to name few.
Japanese RPGs generally have often lots of features and ways you can develop your characters, skills or inventory or whatnot... And they often have very good music and excelent story, interesting and deep...
Japanese RPGs often tends to be epic. or Epic with big 'E'...
And if you like to powerlevel a bit, you can often use it in JRPG ;)
Due to their characteristic look (often "manga/anime" style) are not favoured by some players, though...
There are tons of JRPGs, but many of them can't be seen on PC. You'll have to have some gaming console or emulator (there are lots of). Anyway, if you like to give it try, maybe you'll be surprised how good these games can be.
Not to mention japanese RPG strategy/tactic games! Final Fantasy Tactics, Fire Emblem, Tactic Ogre, Disgaea series and so on...
Oh well, I think this became a bit stray from free roaming on Elder Scrolls world, but it will pay off, if you maybe find new genre which you will like, maybe...
If you have any questions, go ahead and ask.

Some good ones I know of:
ANY Dragon Warrior game from the main series. They have large maps, and very good stories. The dragon warrior monster games have small maps but a ton of them to explore, so that's another route.
Breath of fire games have huge maps as well, generally, though broken down into smaller areas for the action parts.
Fable is good when it comes to large maps, it's rather like oblivion, I belive. Never played that, but the screen shots look similar.

Forgot to add: you can definitely look up some videos on YouTube, to gain some basic taste of it... Search for "New Generation jRPGs" for start (not the best, just first what I found right now), and you'll find lot of others next to it...
And if you want, send me a request and I will send you more links for more info.
