I do not know about watching movies online but I know about watching tv shows online.

hi nomsyd, its enough that you have a real player 11. you can download it on cnet.the main advantage is that while watching the movie. u can download the movie using that software.. try it out

Online movies are shown in your browser, so your browser has to have the right plugin to display it, if you don't have it yet then your browser will redirect you to the site that has it. Normally its adobe flash or shockwave plugin. So just go to the site you want where movie will be shown and let your browsers tell you what you need. You probably have it and it would be a waste of download time and resources for getting something that you don't need.
