Is it autumn yet??

This morning, it certainly feels like it! We've had a very mild summer with only a couple of weeks in the upper 90s (40+C), but the past weeks has been beautiful. Around noon it'll peak in the low 90s and drop into the 80s and well into the 70s at night. A few weeks ago, it would have been unimaginable to be sitting outside, enjoying the weather at 10AM, but here I am!
I can't wait until the cool weather rolls in and I can start my cool weather crops! There isn't anything quite like fresh spinach, right out of the garden. Yum!
Is anyone else starting to feel the seasons change? Are you dreading the upcoming cooler weather or are you more than ready for it?

We've had some unusually hot weather here this summer with several days in a row of above 100 degrees, but it's beginning to cool down a little. Well, a lot for right now. We're in a short rainy spell with temperatures in the 60s and low 70s, which is fine by me! I'm so looking forward to autumn. I love the changing colors of leaves, the pumpkins and winter squash and bales of straw and the last harvests being put up.

I'm glad you're cooling off a little! We haven't gotten as much rain as we need, but it seems to get and stay cooler each time it rains. Hope your autumn is lovely and comes fast!

Oh yeah, I am feeling the weather change all right! But here in South Africa the weather is changing from the cold winter to a cool spring. It's going to be nice to have some sun for a change, I can already see some flowers starting to bloom already, it's beautiful!

Early spring is one of my favorite times of the year. From what I recall from my geography lessons, your summers are in the temperature range that my winters are!

I wish it would cahnge to fall. I have had enough of the heat. Last week was wonderful It was only in the 80's all week. This week it is back tetering on the 100 point mark and I can not breath when I go outside. Umm! fresh spinach. My garndmother used to gor spinach and chard. For some reason I always liked the chard better.

I have a feeling that it'll be 90 until December again, this year, since I think fall is here. Hope it starts getting cooler for you soon!

I honestly couldn't tell you, uk weather is so up and down, we've had loads of rain recently but it could be bright hot sunshine again next week for all i know. I tend to think of autumn starting more in september than august though, isn't august supposed to be the hottest month? I like all the seasosn so it doesn't bother me anyway.
