Which team in the NFL looks to be the strongest defensively, at least on paper this year? If the Chargers can pick up John Lynch, then they would have my vote. Even if they don't pick up Lynch I think they would still get my vote. It is true that I might be a little biased though I am not blind to see the skills of other teams. TB, Washington and the Bears all have a pretty strong d.

The Chargers did not pick up John Lynch, it seems like the Patriots have him. That really doesn't decide my vote though, because either way, green Bay has the best defense in the NFL. Their linebackers- Nick Barnett, AJ Hawk, Brady Poppinga, are all great and Pro Bowl worthy, and with great CB's in Charles Woodson and Al Harris, they are a force to be reckoned with. Other top defenses include: Chargers, Redskins, Vikings, and Steelers.

I am curious to see if Jason Taylor's new dance moves will help him tip-toe his way onto a career high in sacks. I think GB's defense is among the leagues best but I think adding John Lynch to the Chargers back field will definitely help tip the scales in their favour. I would also put the Bears and TB defense ahead of the Vikings.

The Chargers should be good. It helps if the offense doesn't stink like the Bears last year. They were forced to be out there all the time and the injuries didn't help. I think the Vikings have a pretty solid defense and the Packers should be ok if they can put some pressure on the QB. I know the Bengals were horrible last year and I don't know if they have done much to improve.

I like GB's defense too. AJ Hawk was an awesome pickup! Now they have Charles Woodson added to the mix and they are pretty solid on the line. 2 years ago the Bears defense was so good, they were winning games dispite their horrible offense! It reminded me of TB in 2002... crazy defense!
