Scratch Cards and the Lotto (also lotto funded projects)

Hey there, I play the Lotto in the UK quite often, probably once a fortnight and the Euro Millions once a month, I don't rate it as money that I am going to ever win but I think it would be great to win someday.
I also play scratch cards a fair bit and they tend to be winning quite a lot I seem to be having a lot of luck with them, winning between £4-£26 per card which is a nice little return and pays for the cards, the cards that lose and my lotto tickets.
So how often do you guys play scratchcards or the Lotto and do you have any stories of lotto funded projects or of people in need winning money, the really heartwarming ones?
Also if anyone wants to know of a couple of online free lotto sites then add me as a friend and send me a message as I have to dash, thanks guys

I don't do scratch cards or the lottery or anything like that because I figure that I'm going to spend a lot more on them than I am ever going to win.

It is true that most people will lose more money than they will ever get out of it. Its certainly not a way to create and income and you should only ever spend a pound or two that would be spent on casual drinks or fast food otherwise anyway (so no taking out a loan to scratch your way into debt).
Respect goes to people who don't do them for the right reasons though.
