I was diagnose with schizophrenia when I was 18 years old. I hear this voices telling me bad things about myself and it really made me so depress. It wasn't easy living with schizophrenia, because no one understand what I'm going through. People dont really know it, when I was still studying, I do not have any friends, my classmates say bad things about me like I am weird, creepy and I have a world of my own, everybody knows I have schizophrenia but because they dont understand what it is they just make fun of me..How could people judge a person or say bad things to them when they really dont understand anything about the person?

I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling with your diagnosis. I have no clue what you're going through, as I only know schizophrenia because I have a dear, dear friend that was recently diagnosed (and a childhood friend with schizoaffective disorder). He's been struggling to get on a medication regimen that keeps the voices and bad thoughts at bay while still giving him some quality of life. It's been very difficult to watch, and he's expressed many times that he couldn't have made it as far as he has without support.
You must be a very strong person to be dealing with, not only a debilitating neurological condition, but the nasty, ignorant people that don't bother to show any compassion or try and understand that you're not a freak, not weird, or anything else. Having something different, be it your mind, your body, or the way you pick up a pencil seems to give people an opening to cast people out.
There are people in the world that aren't going to look at you with pity or disgust, but it seems like you haven't found many of them, yet.

i guess some people are so insensitive of others feelings...and behavior...anyway since in real thing your not..then just ignore those people who have done nothing good to you just humiliating or whatever..and remember that not all people are like that those bad people are just few compared to good ones here...

It's really hard to deal with that condition especially when it comes to being understood by other people. People tend to be negative instead of being understanding. I guess majority of the people just go with the flow because of ignorance..cuz its easier that way. It surely is a wrong move to judge without even knowing what's really happening. I'm really thankful to have known about this condition because of my education way back in college.
My brother's friend was diagnosed with schizophrenia too and I tell him to accept the fact that not all people will understand what he is going through just like the fact that you cant really explain why you have that diagnosis. I think its just a matter of staying strong in dealing with facts that you cant seem to change. Dealing with it is tough and having friends who are able to show understanding would be really helpful for you. Just hang in there..

That is horrible, schizophrenia does not mean that you are crazy. All it is is not enough dopimine being released into your brain. I am getting my bachlors in psychology just so that I can help people like you and others understand that you are not crazy. Your chemicals in your brain are just not functioning corrrectly. For people to judge just means that they do not understand.
