How can i get a star here in mylot?

Hi chellymarz, you're well on your way to a star, as you automatically get one when you've reached 100 posts! The number that you'll have on your star depends on how people have been rating your posts (marking it + or -). Like others have said, it's not thought that the number on your star has any effect on your earnings. The best advice is to just post lots and enjoy yourself - then you'll post even more, lol! Each post you make, whether it's to start a discussion or respond (or respond to resposes!), should be of a good quality, and a reasonable length (4 or 5 lines minimum). You may also earn more if you rate other users posts, and award best answers for your discussions. (You might have guessed that nobody really knows exactly how our earnings are calculated on here, lol! It's all a big secret!) You also earn something from uploading photos to interests. Some other good advice would be to make lots of friends on here! They are the ones who will probably see your discussions first (through notifier and the front page of the website), so if you have lots of friends then you might get more responses to your discussions. It's also obviously just nice to have friends on here; there are lots of really friendly people, and that's a big incentive to keep coming back as well.

Welcome to myLot! You will get a star automatically when you reach 100 posts (the number by your name). The stars range from 1 to 10 with 10 being the highest. The more +'s you receive, the higher your star will be. To get more +'s you should post longer posts that are helpful and thoughtful and have as much detail as possible. You will also earn more by posting in that way. The star itself does not increase or decrease your earnings but the star and your earnings will relate. If you are posting worthy enough to earn a high star, you are also posting worthy enough to earn more. If your postings only earn you a low star then your earning will also be low. Both are dependent on your posts but are not dependent on each other.

Ok, just to let you know of a thing before you think star affects your money or not. Actually it does not affect your earning, you keep earning in the same way as you have been doing every other normal day. :) Now, about the star, you get a star to know what people rate your posts as. It means how much helpful or nice posts you make or how much they are worth. To get a star rating you need to reach at least 100 post count and you seem to be just 20 posts shy of that. :)

Post a lot! But post lengthy, informative, helpful posts- not simple one sentence replies. I know it is helpful for me to find an interest I am very knowledge about, and then go through that interest and respond to all of the questions. If there's something you know a lot about, chances are you can really help a lot of people out with your knowledge! But keep posting! Respond to a lot of discussions and start a lot of discussions! That is the best way to increase your ratings, get a star and make more money! Good luck!

You do not make More money after you get a star. that is just what other here have rated you. If you want to increase your earning you need to post a LOT! I am shooting for like 20-30 posts a day, sometimes I do more! Make sure you do not just give very short answer to your discussions, make them at least 4 sentences long. Make sure you give out Best response to those that are the best response. Respond to all your friends posts as well. Just keep posting and you will get to your star very soon! Good Luck!

If I am not mistaken you will get your star when you reach 100 posts. You get it then or at least that is what I am told. The plus and minus signs determine if you will get a high star or a low one.
