My four year old is a very fussy eater so I try and make Yummy and nutritious snacks. Yesterday I tried out a new recipe with apples. It turned out to be WOW!!! and my son just loved it. I would like to share this recipe with you all.
you need: 4 apples, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup self raising flour, 1 teaspoon Cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoon melted butter, 1 egg and 1/2 cup water.
1)Peel the apples and cut them into thin cubes. Put them in a bowl and mix them with 1/2 cup sugar.
2)In a separate bowl mix flour, cinnamon and the rest 1/2 cup sugar and salt.
3)In another bowl mix 1egg, melted butter and water. Beat well. Add them to the step2 ingredients.
4)Put the apples from step1 ina greased baking dish and pour the step3 topping over them.
5)Bake for 30-40 min in an oven/convection 180 degree C or 350 degree F
I hope you enjoy it with your kids. Have a good day.

It seems your recipe is delicious but for me i prefer fresh apple with skin. they say apple if you keep it in the air and it will turn brown or change color for sometime it is good source of iron.
