Do you think that we are here for a reason?

certainly there is a purpose of human being. We have a well developed brain to analyse. It is said that our body is nothing but a manifestation of nature and inside our bodies, enveloped a supreme power which we call Soul. This soul is eternal. This soul is covered by the veil of ignorance inside our bodies. The objective of life should be to clear that veil and let the soul to receive the glorious light from the supreme power.

yes,i haven't connected my soul for a long time,and i want to connect with my soul again,because i find that i have lost my soul,and i don't know who i am today,i must to stay in a silence situation,and though a lot for search my soul.and i will do it every day,to connect with my soul.

We are all here for one reason or the other but most people do not know why they are in existence. The reason I live is because of the following: 1. For procreation as commanded by God that we should go ye into the world, multiply, fruitful and replenish the earth. 2. To win souls for Christ, because the world of God says that he that winneth soul is wise. We have to be wise like Solomon. 3. Meeting the need of people around me both my family members and the poor. 4. Making impact in my community.

I happen to agree with you here. I guess I never thought of it that way but it does seem to make sense that our souls are here on this earth to learn something. Sometimes I think that life is a mere test and the Lord wants to see how we will handle things. We are here to be good to people and enjoy life although there will be ups and downs and the daily struggles. I suppose that is what we get tested for to see if we can keep the faith that we need.
