Is your pet a messy eater? This tidy tile place mat keeps things neat and looks cool! Not only that, it looks great too! So for myLotters with extra time ont heir hands, here' something for you to do:
Make this for: Cats, Dogs, Ferrets
You’ll need:
* Square or rectangle of thin scrap plywood
* Broken tile or small glass mosaic tiles in assorted colors
* Tile adhesive
* Grout
* Trowel
* Floater
* Rag or sponge
Instructions:
1. Plan your design on the plywood by writing your pet’s name or nickname in pencil.
2. Set aside dark or black tiles to spell out your pet’s name, and white or light tiles to surround that area.
3. Read and follow safety guidelines on tile adhesive packaging.
4. Using your trowel, spread tile adhesive onto one section of the plywood. Then place tiles neatly onto the adhesive-coated area. You can leave the colors random, or try a pattern. Use the dark tiles you’ve set aside to form your pet’s name. Use the lighter tiles to place around the dark letters. Tile adhesive will set in about five minutes, so work quickly and in small sections.
5. Once you’ve covered the plywood, allow tiles to set at least six hours or overnight.
6. Read and follow safety guidelines on grout packaging.
7. Spread grout over the tiles with your floater. Following package instructions, allow to set for 20-30 minutes, then wipe away excess with a damp cloth or sponge.
8. Let dry thoroughly.
9. Once dry, use a damp cloth or sponge to remove any residue and polish tiles.
10. Adhere rubber bumpers to the bottom corners of the plywood so the mat will be elevated off the floor.

That sounds neat but I am usually too busy trying to make money online to do any craft projects. I wish I did have alittle more time to do things like that. I really like to do paint by numbers when I have time. They are a really fun and easy way to pass the time. I have painted all the ones I have though. My pet will just have to be a messy eater.
