Why can't I post a response to one of my discussions?

think i'm having a similar problem. i've been trying since yesterday, to add comment to a respond on a discussion i've started. i've yet to succeed.

You cannot post response to your own discussion. Because their algorithm probably counts it as a response by others and adds money for it. Hence when you open your discussion page, the response key is not available for you. However, if you want to add details to your discussions, you can do so, by using the add comment key.

Your normally not give a button to respond on your own discussions. You can however, comment on other people's responses.
