If the zebra crossing or overpass is quite far away from you and you are in a hurry to do something, will you walk a long way to cross the street from there?
I didn't do this way for several times and I think it is not completely my fault because the traffic infrastucture is not enough.

In India we only know that lines drawn on road with white paint are called Zebra crossing.Nobody cares to walk on zebra crossing.
You said if zebra crossing is far away then what will you do?????
but the answers with Indians is that even if the zebra is 2 feet away,,still our people will not care to cross from zebra crossing.
In India it is just a formality.
Also if you are caught violating any of traffic laws,,you can give Rs50(approx$1.3) to the traffic police officer and can get free.LOL
freedom LOL.
Indian system is full with corruption.
So we never walk on zebra crossing until it itself comes in our way.
take care
peace.

I haven't done this for a long time, but I used to cross by zebra crossing than overpass. Overpass was tiring, right? Because we had to climb the stairs first and i don' like to make myself tired. But if there is none of them, I will have no other choice but to cross the road.

lol to say the truth i use zebra crossing rarely i mostly do overpass however its not because of me only in turkey some roads are really planned and built very bad so on the most of the roads there is no zebra crossings , so you have to do an overpass to pass to the other side of the road

Yes, I do use zebra crossing where ever it is available. If due to bad traffic infrastructure, I don't find zebra crossing, in that case i have no option but to cross the road.
