It's quite a nice game, if you like poking around for secrets and sending Dracula's minions back to the abyss, but the PS and PSP versions don't do enough justice to it.
If you can find the Sega Saturn version, you'll be in for a real treat.
Want any more info on this game? Ask me! ^_^;;

I did, and I really loved it, an instant fan of this game indeed. But I only played the PS version. If there's something more in the Sega Saturn version, can you tell me? Thanks.

At last, someone who's asked that question.
The Saturn version of Symphony of the Night, also called Nocturne of Moonlight, had a few extra secret areas absent from the PS version. Among them is an underground garden RIGHT underneath the trapdoor near the main metal gate that marks the entrance to Dracula's castle....which can be accessed if you backdash fast enough in the PS version.
However, in the PS version, all it leads to is an empty room, but if you're on the Saturn version, this leads to the place I mentioned earlier. Lots of new foes there, including the Gargoyle, the Flying Fish, and of course, a rather WEAK Skeleton Leader as the boss of that area.
There's two other zones, but I'll look those over in GameFAQs and let you know. Actually, you can also look over DigiHatesMakingNames's vids on YouTube - you'll find some coverage of those extra zones.

I don't play video games. The last system I played was Atari 3600. Sad, I know LOL. I just don't get all the buttons and such. However, my little cousin who was my roomie for awhile, played this game constantly. I used to sit and watch him play for hours and help him figure out the secrets. There's something about the game that just holds your attention. A very good one I think.
