I have experienced for several times. When I worked in a factory after night shift, I would have this kind of experience. I was quite conscious but I couldn't move. I believe in this situation I was asleep actually and all is in a dream because of tiredness. If you can sleep normally, sleep paralysis will not happen.

yes people who always experience this suffers from narcolepsy (excessive daytime sleeping), these are the people that sleep during daytime but cannot sleep at night.

Yeah, this actually happens to me a lot. There's a really interesting science behind it. Years ago I used to not know what it was, and it scared me so much! I thought that I was being possessed or something! haha. Now when I get it, I actually have fun with it and it could be quite relaxing, like meditation. Most adults have sleep paralysis at least one time in their lives, but other people like us have it a few times a year (or at least I do).

yes i've experienced it several times, that's why im so scared, but when i red about it, now i understand, it were our brain awakes from REM state (Rapid Eye Movement which occurs during sleep), but the body paralysis persists. this leaves a person fully conscious but unable to move. the state may be accompanied by terrifying hallucinations (hypnagogic hallucinations)
