How is the education today??

Hi friends, can you tell me about the today's education?? Means whether it's improved when compared to the olden days?? Nowadays so many education societies or taken growth and moving in top levels but the thing is, top level schools or colleges will give more preference for education rather than small institutes?? and also tell me the donation is necessary for those education societies??????

Education has and has not improved from the olden days. Today, yes we learn more, a lot more in fact, but the problem is that no matter what a student learns, teachers are still forced to pass that student. If the teacher teaches math and teaches Calculus and the student still doesn't how to do 2 + 2. The teacher has to pass them on to the higher courses.
If it wasn't for that "No Child Left Behind" thing, maybe the United States would actually be trying in school and we wouldn't be on the bottom of the list when it comes to education.
Education is better today, but then again, it isn't.
