Finally Beijing Olympics Games started at 8:08pm Beijing time. Have you watched the openning ceremony and what do you think of it? Many Chinese claim that most foreigners are lost in the secenery directed by Zhang Yimou, a famous Chinese director, though we know perfectly well that it's all about the display of ancient Chinese civilizations like the four inventions, silk road and so on.
Here comes the question:how do you think of the openning ceremony of the games?

So far as I knew, lots of foreigners found the openning ceremony fanstastic. Here is what I know. Zhang has known their tastes well.
Japanese, for example, were really attracted by it since they admired ancient Chinese culture. Anyway, China is the host while others are the guests. If u treat someone at home, u will prepare them good food. Then it is appropriate to pay more attention to the guests' taste, isn't it? Also, it is said that zhang was invited by the london Olympic association as a director. However, he refused. Thus, u will know how successful the opepping ceremony was.
