What are teachers doing wrong in american schools?

Give me some examples im gone use them on my form... I will be giving a speech DEC 6, i will post my results

I don't think it is necessarily what teachers are doing wrong..I think it is more a matter of parents not supporting the school systems. School systems have become more concerned about getting sued than providing a quality education.
It used to be if you got in trouble at school -- whether it was for talking back to the teacher, not doing your homework, or a serious infraction -- you could count on the fact your would be in worse trouble at home than at school.
Now, a child gets in trouble at school with the administration and the parent gets a lawyer.
A teacher needs to be able to control a classroom -- they can't do that without discipline and under the current guidelines in most shcool systems, they can't effectively discipline a student.
You're a teacher. What are teachers doing wrong in your viewpoint?
