A crime-ridden town in Arkansas takes extreme measures to stop violence, no matter the cost.HELENA-WEST HELENA, Ark. is under a 24 hour curfew for one week. The neighborhood plagued by violence.Police netted 32 arrests since they began last week. those living in the city want the random shootings and drug-fueled violence to stop, no matter what the cost. People are calling the police complaining that the children have to sleep on the floor to avoid bullets. Do you think this action will work, or make things much worse? How would you handle living in such an area. I think this is so scary.

That sounds like a neighborhood from the Robocop movies or some other work of fiction. I really hope it works because children should not have to sleep on the floor to avoid bullets. That's crazy.

Wow that does sound scary. I guess I'm very lucky to live in the area that I do. I hope it does help some, although I don't think anything will resolve the issue completely.

Well something needed to be done. So I really hope this worked out for them. Kids are our future and to have to live like that is like a rabbit and a hunter you never know when it is going to happen and it can happen in the blink of a eye. I hope that if it worked that they will try it out in other areas with the same problems as well.
