You from the Philippines? me too! and yes there has been a long debate over toyota being cheap because it is utilized as taxi, but come to think of it, taxi cabs ir really a hard work for the cars, so if these drivers are relying on toyota as their taxi car, toyota must be that good, and I think it is (we have vios, and not ashamed that altis, which is more expensive is utilized as taxi)

I have to say Toyota. I have a very good experience with them. Their cars are meant to last for life. All of my recent cars have been from Toyota. However, there is just one thing that they can really work on and that is maybe a better style and design to their upcoming/future models. Nonetheless, they are definitely taking the world market for cars one country at a time.

Nissan makes a good product. But I still think Toyota is better. They have always made a quality product. I really like the Camry.

I love Camry too :D . I also like driving Corrola. I have driven land cruiser (the Prado version of it) too and wow, what a ride it was.
On to the less fuel burning side of Toyota, I have tried Vitz (North American version of it is called Yaris i believe) and have tried Platz (aka Echo). They are very spacious in their class.

I'm going for Toyota, because of their hybrid and fuel efficient cars. And also from my experience, I'd already drove Toyota corolla (both the big body and small body), first gen of Toyota Vios, Second gen Toyota Vios and Toyota Yaris. They all differ when it comes to performance and handling though it could last long! but one thing is for sure, they all manage to decrease it's fuel consumption. I don't know with their SUVs and Pickups.
Nissan? I had some bad experiences on 2 different Nissan Sentra. Firs of all, Sentra has a stylish interior and very comfy seats. The performance is nice and the handling is very smooth due to their nice shocks. Well here is the not good part, ATs sentra are thirsty for fuels and I really hate it! it costs me too much! MTs sentra at first they are fuel efficient and after 4 to 5 months, well you might as well sell it. Even if you frequently change your oil, equal psi of tires, and stuffs like that has no use! I hate it! My cousin told me that sentra must be filled full tank in order for it to decrease it's fuel consumption, I really don't know the logic behind it. And lastly, the clutch pedals are darn too hard to pedal.
Toyota is the best for me!

all you have to do is check the fuel injectors once in a while to see if they are clean. and if its a carb always check the jett inside the carb if its not cloged. and be sure that ther are no leaks. just check the gaskets orings seals once a month and your toyota's performance will be desame for a long time. like a very2x long time. and dont put water from the faucet inside the radiator. put distield water.

thats a hard one. I would have to say Toyota as i have own 4 in the last 5 years, and 1 nissian. Toyota cars are a little better to drive with nice clean engines, but both have that cheap plastic look inside. But now i am seeing better looking nissans out their, maybe i may change my mind next year.

Probably unfair to call Nissan's Japanese these days as all of the Front-Wheel Drive cars are based on Renault's.
