While most suburban Rap Fans would be quick to pick 2~PAC, they would be discounting the fact that Easy~E was more than a Rapper. He was an Innovator, a phenomenal Producer, and an incredibly smart & savy Buisness Man.
NWA first introduced Middle America to the Truth of the Gangster Life on the West Coast, and shocked the World with their True to Life Lyrical Content.
Easy E Was at the forefront of this group; along with M.C. Ren, Yella, Hollywoods main man from the Streets, Ice Cube and legendary Proucer in His Own Right, Dr.Dre.
Althogh Easy E Passed in 95' From AIDS, the Seeds that Easy~E Planted have multiplied and Flourished into so many Directions, Easy & the members of NWA have Branched & Spread so far that You'd need A GPS System to keep track!
Between BONE~Thugs & Harmony, All of Dre's, Cubes, Snopp Dogg, EMINEM, 50 Cent & countless other Artists, that are Directly Decended from Easy, (And Yes, even 2~Pacs Career has crossed Paths With the NWA Family throuout his Entire Career.)Has Multiplied Enough Platnum Records to Just About Deplete the Entire Planet of It's Rare Precious Metal.
However, 2~PAC Still May Win this Compitition, For 1 Reason.
HEART.
He Showed his Heart His Entire Career.
His Thug Life & Upbringing From Baltimore to L A, Has allways Been on Par With Easy's Lyrical Content.
But His Heartfelt And Honest Respect For Women, And Passion for Truth, Give Him the Win. And altho Easy Certainly Has Shown Heart Before the record, 2~Pac Would Show His Fears, Share His Tears & Tell the Truth.
Some Beleive that His Passion For Truth & Politics, May Have been His Downfall.
Him & His Mother Have Allways been Very Forward About there Black Panther Roots, And is Still, In My Mind 2~PAC is the First & Only Rapper to Really Explore the World of Secrecy, Discussing Illuminatti Conspiracies & Political Injustice In Such an Extreme Manner. No Doubt that He'd Be Next to Slim Shady Right Now Discussing the War & 9~11.
Many Hardcore Fans Believe that 2~PAC Is Still Alive,(And Even I Wonder Sometimes, With New Stuff Coming out Every year!)But Everyone Who Knew 2~PAC, Knows that He Was a Workaholic & Cut 3 to 10 Tracks a Day! There is still Work that Remains Unheard. We'll all Probobly retire before He Does.

For me EMINEM and 50 aint Rapers. maybe 50 at first but he was not real till the end. turns out hes just want to make money out of doing music. when the time came he ran out of ideas he teamed up with justin timberlake and other of that R&B sh*t. Not like pac and E. Rapping for a cause and staying real to their music. its not because you want to earn money out of it, its beause you love what your doing. Love what your doing and you will never go wrong.

I think that was my point too, but you can't discount the fact if it weren't for Easy-E and NWA these "performers" ,if thats what you want to call them, might not be out there doin their thing. That was all I was sayin on that front wasn't tryng to get into who is a rapper and who ain't, just givin my 2 cents on the Easy-E vs Pac. In the end, personally, my pick is Pac hands down but I still have much love for Easy-E and NWA.

Tupac is the best! Not only could he rap, he could tell a story with his words and show you how he lived the life and knew that our answer was God.
The man tasted all that life had to offer and had the courage to stand up for everything he believed in.
Pac was THE man!

Thats fo sho! hes always being atacked by some people with some rumors, like the media. they always show pacs faults and mistakes, did they ever show pacs good side? mostly the bad side. the media is the bigest problem in the info industry.

Phatboy,
I agree with you! Take the song, Unconditional Love and just listen to the words to it. He told a story and warned kids about how hard that walk of life is.
I get pissed when everyone says he was a low-life gangster. The man was an icon
that few ever really listened closely to.

Like thug life. the medeia is telling people that thug life is a group of people that robs and kill people, but its not. thug life means poor people that live a strugling life. all he wants is to give them a chance to do somthing for a better life instead of draging them down.

I love Tupac's music. I've never really been a fan of Eazy E and the whole NWA thing. I just think Tupac is a classic act. His music will never get old in my opinion. Neither had time to really have meaningful careers though. Seems like Pac and E were just beginning.

Pacs lyrics wer so deep, Eazy E's Lyrics was all about hate and the game they are moving in. Eazy E was kinda mad person but cool!
