i want to use one on my sony ericcson k850i, but the cases i have found take the nice look on it away. Its kind of annoying because i want to protect my phone with it but i dont want an ugly one.

I have a black one for my blackberry... I was thinking about getting something from ebay... it's called "Otter" case? Looks like a case for blackberries, I'm sure they have cases for others too, & they look really durable... But I wouldn't buy them for looks...

I think the silicon case is a good idea. I used one on my former nokia 6600 series and it helped reduce the scratches that I get. I doesn't get as dusty as before when I don't have the silicon case on. Basically, it boils down to whether you like the look of the silicon on your cellphone because the silicon sleeve does have its uses.
