What is Love???

Love knows no boundaries. I'm not sure I believe in the "fairy-tale" love at first sight though, infatuation? Yes. Love takes time to grow. To learn the person's weaknesses and strengths. Who the person actually is on the inside not just what they look like on the outside. They could be the most attractive person on the outside but if they have a nasty disposition I won't even look further for a friendship. I def. think that a friend can become a lover. I think love has better chances of surviving if there's an underlying friendship first. Lust can die out, but love is neverending in my opinion.

I fell in love with my husband when I first saw him. At the time I was dating his best friend and he was seeing another person as well. After about a month we had both broken up with our bf/gf at the time and started talking on the phone. We started just being friends and eventually we were engaged and then married. I knew from the first time I saw him we would be married one day. I just took it slow and let nature run its course. I love that fact that we were friends first and then together because in my opinion it makes a couple stronger and have more trust. I learned a lot of things about him before it got too serious. I knew his habits so I knew what I had to look for in our marriage. I am so happy to be married to my best friend. I am looking forward to growing old with him!!
