Nice site but...

Coming from other sites, I find this one to be lacking in too much to make it worth spending much time here. The last straw was writing a long discussion post and then previewing it...only that because of a link I'd used it was unacceptable. Fine, on another site I'd just click back and there'd be my long post for me to edit. Not here. It's gone!
Trying to change my profile page is a joke. Found the only place to use HTML but it wouldn't take anything.
Some of the discussions are excellent, the idea of the interest is superb. There's a lot of potential here but it just isn't worth my time as is now.
Convince me I'm wrong.

Three times I suffered the same fate, and yes, I spat the dummy for awhile, however, looking at my $1.97 for limited input......well.....here I am again.
6HRS a day on YUWIE for $2.01 last month was frustrating, but because I belong there i'm staying.
That said, I owe it to my pocket to stick around mylot for at least 6months, i'm trying to earn $50 per month from my sites, everything takes time Rev Skull.

Geoff,
It is because I get enough frustration at other sites that I don't need more. I'm still very new here and can easily leave without hurting anyone. I have committed to a lot of people at Yuwie. Neither place is going to make a bucket of money for us.
If I can make a bit here, that's fine. It would just be easier if the programming on the site wasn't quite so i990's.
At this point, I don't owe anything to my pocket...the days of my carrying money in them are long gone and I haven't kept a frog in them for years.

I just had the same thing happen with wanting to preview my discussion and having it deleted. It is also frustrating that I can not even copy and past a link until at least 500 posts. I do like SOME of the discussions I have had here and will stick around as long as I feel that I'm gaining some type of knowledge.

Hi, I am relatively new here and I get tired of people talking about how much money they make or want to make. There is a post here where somone has a goal of making $50 a month here. You can make $50 at minimum wage in one day. How many hours do you need to make $%0 on myLot, I have no clue how it works. I cannot imagine sitting here doing that, they must be making three syllable comments to threads and starting threads that are inane questions.
I also get tired of the same questions in certain categories ie: cats, should I declaw my cat - NO; should I let my cat out - NO etc. etc., especially if someone already has a post there about the same subject. Read the subject before you post your own redudant question.
So now that I have mouthed off with that I will say that my spell check is not working, so please forgive me.

Hi - I've seen you on Yuwie?
I enjoy a lot of the discussions here and especially the comments and the give and take. Some days are really worth my time and others are not. Sometimes I have to take a break from here because I'm seeing the same thing over and over again. As far as convincing? Well I'm no sales person. You have to decide for yourself. As far as technical issues on the site, why not contact the admin here and see how responsive they are to suggestions and problem reports? Possibly the issues that bother you can be corrected quickly and you won't have to give up on the site.
