I think its fiction somehow inspired by i dont know what. I cant say. Anyway, the book is great.

exactly. there have been loads of theories going around about this so called da vinci code.. on reading the book it almost seems real. but one thing that needs to be understood that this is just a personal view of the writer and some more believers who believe that mary magdelene was jesus christ's wife. none of this have been proved. and none of this can be disproved also. all that is present is a number of theories doing the rounds and dan brown picked up one of those theories which he found beleivable and turned it into a book. Anyway.. real or not.. whether jesus was married or not.. it doesn't diminish the greatness of jesus christ in any way.. he will be worshipped with as much fervour even if da vinci code turns out to be true

Well you have to understand that the book was a work of fiction but it is based of real theories. And there is no really way to tell if these theories are real or not because it all happened a long time ago.
