Does God created only Adam and Eve to Populate Earth?
If adam and eve were the first people god created on earth, then were all of us born through them were brothers and sisters?
In christianity, the concept of marriage between siblings is acceptible or sin?
Please clarify my doubts to grow my knowledge and spirit

Please note this is my opinion and How I was brought up believing!! I always was told that it is a Sin to marry immediate family like 1st or 2nd cousins, family that close. In my opinion the line of people created down from Adam and Eve have gradually grown so that we aren't closely related to other people besides our family obviously related. This is just my opinion again I do not intend to tell you something and it be wrong. I have heard several people in my family married their 6 and 7 cousins stuff like that and it was ok. I do not know for sure how far the generation line has to be so that it's considered not a sin. I hope I helped and didn't confuse you more.

The OT story of Adam and Eve is just a fairy tale. If you wish, you can interpret it so that it means something for you. Otherwise, it is just an insignificant story. Man is billions of years old and is the product of evolution.

Every religion has some lacunae or the other, but the aim of every religion is to bring some sort of order, so,me law as well as have control over its adherents. Quite like you I too have asked this question from many Christians, but none have been able to answer it rationally or coherently.
The major religion in our country - Hinduism has found solutions to problems as such, though Manu is considered the father of all mankind and his wife the mother, the seven rishis started their own lineages and there was marriage between their descendants, hence eliminating that quandary in that particular religion.

can u tell me more about hinduism or refer some good books or sites for knowing about it.. i heard a lot about hinduism, except its SPIRITUAL ORIGIN, everyone tell me how its name come... truth cant be vanished without any traces unless forbidden..
if vedas are the truth about hinduism that means its God who wants people to be knowledged about God by providing an evidence of his presence... but y its not full or where the origin..
which story is true..
which god is the creator, brahma or the brahma who was created by maha vishnu or shivan or breath of God letter "OM" or holy spirit or invisible or watever shape or mythical explanations that could be given if science can't answer...
as u said is it truly believable that Rishi's lineages populated the earth, do rishis u said were married...
atleast pls tell me wat did God first created, sky or heaven or earth or universe...
according to Hinduism, atleast say wat was the 1st organism that was created on earth? is it mentioned in any scriptures? if animals were first created then does man evolved from them?
lot many questions may arise frm this, so v finish 1 by 1...

yes God created Adam and Eve only to populate the earth.. its in Genesis 2 the creation of Man and Woman..
yes we are all brothers and sisters..
yes it is a sin.. before there is no law.. but later on God put a law on Immoral Relations which is found in Leviticus 18..

Hi there. It is true that God created Adam and Eve. This is where we all began. We can see this in the old testament. If you'll read more of the old testament, there are lots of proofs that God did allow marriage within the immediate family. You'll also read there that even the daughters of Noah slept with him thinking that this is the way to multiply. But in the old testament also is where God became angry because people were so sinful. They abused the provisions, the freedom that God gave to them. This is why there is Noah's ark. If only people there became obedient and faithful to God, then having this kind of set up will not be maliciously taken. When Jesus came, He corrected all wrong beliefs and interpretation of God's law. At the end of the day my friend, we will all face God. There, we are all brothers and sisters. Even your husband /wife will be you siblings.

Adam and Eve were made perfect. That means their genes were perfect too. They didn't have to worry about defective genes at that time.

I agree with xanraven in that the line had grown a long way away
When God made Adam and Eve they were perfect and after the expelsion from the garden of Eden because of the fruit thing, humanity's bodies started to deteriorate and hence now we get problems if our siblings etc bear children because of each other.

I believe in God, but not in Adam and Eve theory. Adam and Eve produce children. These children produce another generation. Brothers and sisters fornication? Arrghhhh.
