I have a Toshiba laptop. Last night I was on it and was trying to change the password. It kept saying that it was unable to change the password. I got frustrated so I shut it off. Today I was trying to get onto the laptop and when the password part came on to login to the computer, I entered my old one and it didn't work and I also tried the one I was trying to make yesterday. That didn't work either. Do any of you know how I can get onto my Laptop without typing in a password? Please Help me so I can get onto my laptop. Thanks!
:)

haven't had that problem, but my laptop can be a tempermental pain in the but on some days.
it was one of the early ones with vista, so we found out the hard way with the memory.
i would suggest take it to a computer techican if you can, they should know where to start, other wise it sounds like you have a nice problem.
wish you all the best with it.

It seems that you set up a log in account for your laptop. It's in the user account settings where you set up a username and password for your computer.Apparently this is the first thing you see when you boot up your laptop and nobody can assist you here but contact your computer manufacturers tech support. After that never set up a log in for your laptop so that this problem will not exist again.
