What would you do if you knew someone here was cheating Mylot?

I think it's stupid too. I usually report, rate -, and move on. Ocassionally I feel the need to comment about the cheating so everyone will avoid that user or at least that discussion.

How are they cheating? Are the copying someone else discussions? If someone is cheating it will catch up with them and you won't have to do anything about it. What comes around goes around.

Usually the ones that cheat do get caught eventually. Whether myLot catches them themselves, or if somebody points it out, then they deserve what they get (booted out.) I would never cheat, here or anywhere else. Yes, it does say a lot about the person that's doing it. Guess there's always a few who think they have to try anyways, but that doesn't make it right at all. I don't think I've ever caught anybody cheating, but if I was 100% positive, I'd probably report them to mylot's admin to check it out.

When I first started reading your topic, I was trying to think of how someone could cheat on Mylot. Then I thought, the only way that I could think that this would be possible is to have someone else posting under your name when you are not able to be on. Even if one did have two accounts or something like that, they would still have to put in the same amount of work. I must not be thinking hard enough. I can not think of any way a person can cheat on Mylot and get away with it.

I am not even sure I would know how to cheat on Mylot. Why would you. That would be like going into a bank and saying "THIS IS A HOLD UP...ONLY GIVE ME THE CHANGE IN YOUR POCKETS." :) I mean really. If you have the time to sit here and cheat on mylot for crying out loud, get a job.

Hi there marciascott Ok I may be being a bit naive here but how exactly do people cheat in mylot? The only thing I can think of is that people might create say two or more accounts and then make loads of discussions and answer them using the different accounts or am I barking up the wrong tree?

I am not sure how one can cheat on mylot. I am not here just for the money, its not that much. So, I have never really thought about anyone cheating on mylot.

i,basically abhor cheaters.i would as far as possible keep away from them.i think the best way would be to just ignore them.when you see a person,one gets a gut feeling whether the person is truthful or not.

I don't have the idea of how we can find that some body is cheating or not. In the first kind.. i can't understand as how can one cheat here.. is it copying and pasting somebody's post.. or imitating some one's post. But even that takes a lot of time than in making a original post.. as it is spontaneous. Take care friend.

How do you cheat the system? The only way I can think of is having multiple accounts, which wouldn't be hard to do if you had several different email addresses. If I knew for sure that someone was cheating mylot, then I would report it. Have to keep things fair for those of us who are doing the right thing. Cheating the system does say alot about the character of a person. It shows that they are weak, greedy and completely self absorbed. I would say they have no confidence in who they are and are generally an unhappy sort of person who would take any opportunity to put other people down in order to make themselves feel better. Not the kind of person I would like to know at all.

I have never come across anyone that I thought might be cheating, but if I did then I would not do anything about it. If that is what they want to do then it is up to them, I do not personally see the point of cheating for such a little amount of money, like you say pennies! For me to even consider cheating it would have to be for a heck of a lot more than that!
