As much as possible, I try to restrain myself a lot and think about the consequences of my actions. I'm pretty much adequate in holding anger back. Lol. And also, I tend to chew gum a lot. ;) Weird as it may sound but its my way of calming myself at times. xD

You CAN manage your anger, I have good news for you. Take a deep breath. Count to ten. Consider the consequences if you act on such anger, and deck somebody. You may end up with a felony, in jail--or even prison. Even though you may get out, you stand the chance of being Pariah #1 to potential employers.
Also, you stand the chance of losing some or all your teeth, getting an eye gouged out, or maybe even losing your life. Again, I ask...is it really worth it?
I read a Bible that lets me know that I shouldn't "let the sun go down on my anger."
You should tell your anger, that, like Elton John would say, "I'm not going to let the sun go down on you."

Hello angusthethird, thank you for the tips you have shared. Anyway, it depends on how a person manage his/her anger, it depends on him how to control his/her emotion, each one of us has its way of controlling it. but there are people who cannot do it, others will not relieve from anger if they cannot do a destructive actions.

i am terrible at this. i get angry very quickly and usually hit something in my room (like a chair/or my desk). i'm not abusive or anything. haha. no i just feel the urge to get the anger out somehow and breaking something always works. i have to find a different way to go about it though, since well this isn't very practical. i keep having to buy new furniture.
