open forum: BEIJING OLYMPICS 2008

Yeah, China and US have bagged the most medals. They are performing very well. Its a wonderful thing to see the environment there. I feel it to be better to watch everything on TV rather than to be present there in such a huge crowd. I am from India and my country lack at every Olympics, but this time it bagged a gold in shooting which is a matter of pride for me. I love to watch gym events at Olympics... Happy mylot!

I have been really enjoying this year's olympics. I think the opening ceremony was spectacular. I enjoy watching swimming, diving, and gymnastics so far. I guess cuz each event is short and I just don't have time to watch a whole basketball game or volleyball match LOL, or I would probably like those as well. Of course the US has a lot of great athletes (and a big corporate sponsorship machine to back it up), and I'm cheering for my countrymen, but I still like seeing an unexpected winner from a smaller country take the gold sometimes. It seems like such a great moment for them. It's also been cool to watch Michael Phelps get all those gold medals, the most in history now I think, and do it breaking all the world records too. What a great Olympics he's having.
