If I had the money to invest in any business venture that I found interesting, then I would build environmentally friendly houses which include built-in/easy to use recycling facilities in the kitchen, enough solar panels to generate enough electricity for the house plus a bit extra to sell back to the utility company. And I would include the option of colour matched electric car(s) to fit in the double garage with special plugs to recharge the vehicles everyday. The houses would have 1/2 acre plus gardens to accommodate a few fruit trees and an optional little solar panelled greenhouse to continue the environmentally friendly theme of self-sufficiency. The idea of blending new technology for long-term energy savings, with the old fashioned notion of self-sufficient living and a feeling of space and comfort. What would you do, if you had the money...
