My grandmother gave me a photo NEGATIVE (not a picture). She had taken the photo at a Louisville, KY concert in 1955. It is a beautiful thing to see. I want to have a picture made off it, but I was told that it would decrease the value of the negative. This is a non-published, never circulated image of The King. I just returned from Graceland tonight. It was Elvis week there, so I went to find out the value of my little treasure. I had a few offers, but NOONE would tell me its value, so I refused to sell it, until I do. Can any of you give me an estimate on what it MIGHT be worth? There are no photos of this image. The ONLY one was my grandma's, but it burned in a house fire. Any help is appreciated.

I guess that is a hard one for anyone to say, as anything in this world is only really worth what someone is willing to pay...I was told not so long along that a lot of Elvis stuff is not bringing in a lot of money because he was so out there, even autographs as he signed so many...I wish you luck in your quest maybe just as a suggestion maybe you could print one photo off, some scanners can do that I think, enlarge it to a large size frame it along with the negative....as some people do with autographs....just a thought.

i may do something like...not sure just yet. I did get to talk with some "big-wig" at graceland...the archives director over the Elvis Presley Enterprises. I had a nice trip. They think maybe 25-35,000. I was flabberghasted....but they did say the true value comes from what someone will pay, just as you said. thanks for the suggestion
