What will you do when you feel upset?

I will have no mood to do anything else expect sitting or standing alone with my brain can't escape from feeling pain, maybe i'll click the link on internet at random and don't care about the content. Sometimes i'll eat too much for my stomach and then go to sleep without thinking. It's a pessimistic attitude toward life, isn't it? How will you take it?

when i very upset, i will eating chocolate... i will go out n shop n bough a lots of chocolate and eat non-stop... sometime like really no mood, i will go n shop bookshop oso... if i really upset, i sure will buy something like books, or magazine... no matter i read it or not, i will just buy it 2 make myself happy... hahaha... i think i quite waste money if i upset n shop bookshop... coz i will buy lots of nonsense book... hahaha... so i will try 2 just eat chocolate... coz sweet thing will make u happy....

Yeah, in that sense, making yourself happy is a good way to lose weight without diet, which make you happier and then begins a good circle

Hi there! For me, i will just take a nap. I will take a short bath and go to have a sleep. It works everytime i did so. When i get up from bed, it's like everything is just a dream and i already left the feeling in my dream and forget about it.

Hey, conrgrass, if we take life as a dream, we will be pretty much happier than current period. Cause we know nightmare can only last about 8 hours. And if it's a good dream, we tell ourself: it's real life

When i feel upset,i will find something to do so that i can make myself busy and I will have no time to think matters.I also listening to music or reading novels. Many people around me, when they feel upset,they will take the different ways which are opposite with me.They will sit down alone so that they will make themselvs calm.But i think this method doesn't suit me.Because when i am quiet down ,i will feel more upset and i will want to cry.That's too terrible for me.It's a bad feeling!

I was becoming workaholic when I was upset. It is good for my employer, so they should make me feel upset all the time.lol Personally, I did not take advantage to my self when I was upset like sleeping,eating,etc. rather I was make myself busy doing something to stay away with the pain.Though the pain is there but after a couple of hours making myself busy at work or doing some home improvements then, the pain is gone.Yet, I did make my time fruitful.

Yes ,i some will have the same action with you ,in a upset feeling just want to qiute condition, and don't want to say anything with the others. When i am not happy ,maybe i will listen music i think it can help me to get out of the bad mood .or go out for a walk or eat something ..

When i feel upset, I normally go to the kitchen fridge and dig out some ice cream and eat it up. And it actually does make me feel a little better. I try not to think of all the extra calories and fat i just ate. I also like to look through my old high school yearbooks and old letters that i have from important people. I read through them and they make we feel better. Its nice to read letters from people that are close to you and that helps you feel that you are wanted and that you are important to other people.

I snack when I'm upset, not good for the figure but who cares LOL if there are no snacks to eat then I go walking, that seems to work most of the time.

I will write some blogs or diary ,when I have abreavted,I will feel better and later,I could read it and taste the feeling of just time.I think it is a good way for me.I want to watch TV and go into the story and forget my bother briefly.I will sleep in a whole day and dream.I will go shopping .I will eat more till I couldn't eat any more .--------I will tear all the time,as the tear out ,I will be better.--------

I sometime will write blogs too, but sometimes it worked, sometimes it only added the upset. Seems that i will take the same measures as you, going shopping, watching tv, eating more and getting more sleep.

Hi lynn, when i will feel upset, i will still keep my step moving on (especially in office). If so happen that i'm in my house, then i will find a corner to sit down and keep silent there for the whole day (except going to toilet). I also tried some pessimistic behavior like forcing myself to sleep for whole day, when wake up, eat until full then go back to the bed again. Recently, i try to make myself think positively by facing my problem from the other perspective. Well, it is works, maybe you can try it also.

If I feel upset. The thing i do was to have room general cleaning of my bedroom. Try to sort things which I really want to disposed. Or somethings try to invent knew dish to cook. Just to keep myself busy at that time.

I usually just take my cards and do fancy shuffles and practice my magic tricks when I feel upset. Doing so not only n=clears my mind but also relaxes me in more ways than one.

I think what you do may be somehow pessimistic, you could not relief your pain in a good way.My suggest is that ,you can running or go to swimming ,sports always can help you .HOPE you have a good mood.

sleep it off seems impossible to me. when i feel upset , i find it harder to fall asleep. have a long walk at night or in the evening is workable, trust me, it works very well on me.

Why get upset... dont.. what ever is done than its done... There is always away form any situation. Personally, when I get upset I just listen to music, just to turn away all ideas that are going on through my mind. Stress is not a goood thing.

unlike you i don't eat much when i'm upset...i find myself inside my room locked..laying down and thinking..restless and smoking..i wont even come out for till it cools off..

I can understand these actions! I will do something similar. If I have enough money, I may go shopping or to a movie! Otherwise I will do like you and eat something good while trying to forget it. I may try to figure out what caused the hurting or why it happened.

When im upset I usually eat alot too. I go to the local burger king or any fast food place that im craving at the time. Then after i eat i take a long hot bath with bubbles (of course!)while listening to music. no matter what has happened in the day i usually feel better after my bath. If I dont I call a friend or my mom and talk it out. They usually make me feel better about whatever had me upset.

Hi Lynette I will usually just have a bath and go to bed and hope I wake up feeling brighter the following day. If it is early in the day when I am feeling this way I will allow myself to feel the feeling and sit and relax for as long as I can then get up and put some uplifting music on and work it out of my system perhaps by doing some housework and if that doesn't work I will take myself for a walk. That usually helps clear the mood. Ellie :D

Hey, I do some of the things you do too. I eat when Im upset and for the more serious issues that cant be satisfied or pacified by a full and aching stomach I sleep. It calms me and when I wake up the problem might be gone but the feeling of upset is gone that I can think more clearly.

Hi lynettebyc, What has caused you to have so much pain? life is waht you make it and be positive about things. Look around you and see the nature around you and you will start to smile, if anyone hurt you' you can turn round and not let that peon hurt you anymore and what ever the weather is doing think of it that is helping the trees and plant to grow, think of anything that will make you smile and the best place to forget that feeling is come on Mylot and have some fun.
