i leave in a condo and for me, its safe to be in a condo. you just luck the door and ready to leave your place! i also have a good view from my window...
unlike in a house there is no 24hr CCTV that can actualy see your door for some trespassers.
i also have my own house too...
the good thing to have a house is you have a big pool at the back of your house.:)
for you which one would you prefer? why?

I think living in a condo is very convenient but buying one is very expensive plus it still excludes the monthly association fees. living in a house also has its advantages, it is a lot bigger and no neighbors to hear what you have to say and all that.

Hi... I prefer to stay in a house compare to a condo. Stay in condo is very troublesome. Although it has a lot of facilities like swimming pool, badminton court and basketball court. When we are moving into our condo then will bring us a lot of headache problems. It is very hard for us to bring all our things up to 20 or 30 floors. If we are staying in a house then we will be able to move in all our thing easily. Living in condo also not allow to have pets. Like that we wont be able to have our own pets there. If living in a house we can have whatever pets we want. We have more space and can communicate with our neighbour nearby. If staying in condo the security systems are too strict that will be a problem if my friends come to find me or i want to have party there. All the thing need to have a permission before started. We dont have any our own freedom. If staying in a house i can invite my friends to come over at anytime and held party at anytime too. So i choose to stay in a house. Happy Myloting!!!

I prefer a house than a condo. There are just too many rules that they impose living in condo, you have more liberty living in your own home.

I prefer my house. Most condos around here even if you own you have to pay a fee and the neighbors are too close. My house is my house and a condo just doesn't seem the same to me. My parents have one and while it is nice it just isn't the same. I don't think they are any safer there than I am here.

They both have their good points. I prefer a house. I lived in condos and apartments for too long. Too many people, too much noise, and when you buy one the association fees can go up very high. Sometimes they ask for thousands of dollars from everyone in the building when they need to paint if the management isn't too good and doesn't plan ahead. In a house you can fit a nice piano or drum set or play an istrument without bothering anyone as much as in an apartment. Also in a house you can have dogs and other animals if you want. IN apartments you are lucky if you can have a small animal like a bird or rabbit.

I prefer living at my own house, though I have no any security cams and all but our village have a 24/7 guards roaming around day and night. And my house has a fire and burglar alarm device if someone open the door and didn't know the code, it will simultaneously ring until security will come. So I think my house would be safe for me. lol
