Hi Friends, have you installed Service Pack 1 for Vista? have you noticed any improvement after installing SP1? I didn't feel any improvement

yes I have installed service pack 1 for Vista, improvements none, just works fast as normal with no problems

REALLY?!?!?!?! when i installed my service pack 1 my benchmark scores actually dropped by 5%

Are you sure it doesn't feel any difference after installing Service Pack 1 for Vista. for me a great improvements when it comes to overall performance and system response. what version of Vista you're using. better try Vista Ultimate with SP1 install and update it in Windows Update to fully experience the stability and performance of your system.
