When Was The Last Time You Sing Your Country's National Anthem?

Sing out loud? I think when I had a duty on V.Luna Hospital last year with my right hand on my left chest. I don't know why but every time the national anthem was played, I usually don't sing at all, I just stand still and both hands on both sides. I am not embarrass with my nationality (although I'm just half filipino), it's just that I don't want to put my hand on my chest and we really have a choice on whether we just stand still or sing with your hands on your chest. I don't think it makes me less patriotic or insulting the national anthem at all.

seven years ago when I was at the circus I believe it was but I never really sang our national anthem I always thought the song kinda sucked.

the last time i remember singing O Canada was ummmm about 21/2years ago. my oldest daughter was in kindergarten and needed help learning the words for it but even i had trouble remembering some of it. the last time before that that i remember singing it was wayyyyyyy back in grade school which was in 1994.

Since I'm working as a teacher, we sing the national anthem every morning in school. I just sang it this morning.

Everytime I hear the music to our national anthem I stop and sing along with it. Even if it is on the TV. If I hear it in person I will take of my hat, if I am wearing one, and sing and be respectful. Just can help it, must be the way I was raised.

I am working in a university, so I get to sing the National Anthem every Fridays and Mondays of every week and every time there are activities and programs.

The last time I sang my country's national anthem is 4 days ago. For your information I am still study so every weeks we got assembly. Sing that song(NEGARAKU) is complementary.

good question i think it has been a long time since i sang our national anthem. i don't remember. well, maybe about 15 years ago, when i attended a flag ceremony (a welcome ceremony) for new students in my university. but i never forget our national anthem. i just cannot sing it properly

I just sang our National Anthem "Lupang Hinirang" just right now when I saw your POST. LOL... But the last time that i remember singing it was last December at our Company's Grand Christmas Party that was of course last december. So it just means it's quite long time ago... Go Team Philippines...

The last time I remembered singing our national anthem was when I graduated college. I didn't watch the match on a public area and didn't get the chance to sing with others. But anyhoo, maybe I will again when I start working in a government hospital.

I dont think I have for a good ten years since middle school. I know it but don't ever sing it.

well i am from turkey and we are patriotic enough they used to memorize it in primary school to us we are singing that anthem every morning before lessons began and last time i heard it was yesterday on the soccer match of a turkish team

the last time I actualy sang ours was at band practice a few years ago. We did a hard rocked up version of the star spangled banner. Just to try somethng different. It actualy came out pretty good, lol. I wonder what francis scott key, the guy who worte it, would think if he heard it. I can't imagine he ever envisioned it sounding like we played it.

This question is very difficult for me to answer, because i could sing more than two national anthems successfully without any problems,so when there is any competion and i hear them singing the respective anthems,i join most of the time.This is olymipics time so i see myself singing them on daily basis.It's very hard to believe but its like that.Thank Wendhie!

The last time that I sang our national anthem (Lupang hinirang), was the other day. I brought my kids at school. As an officer of the Parents Teachers Association, we need to be there every other day to attend the flag ceremony. Keep posting. HUGZ!

When I watched in the cinema, I sang it proudly because what's the point of standing up to it if you don't sing it right? Also by doing so I get to say that I'm proud of me as a citizen of that country.

I'm from Philippines too. Last time I sang it was just last Sunday. I am one of the commitee in the Taekwondo competition in Laguna. We have to sing it in the opening of the competition. Actually every competition, we sing it. But that was the last time I sang Lupang Hinirang, I just dont know when will be the next.

National anthem I sing atleast once in a year when we celebrate our independence, which is a national holiday for us. So, we are supposed to assemble near the flag and sing national anthem. But, we forget it for almost one year. Another occasion is the celebration of Republic day, that is January 26. So, we do not sing our national anthem everyday. In film theater called Inox multiplex, we sing national anthem, but we not do that everyday. Since we dont' sing national anthem everyday, we perhaps respect it.
