This is a question for my fellow My Lotters where earning and quality responses are concerned. I think I saw this question posted before but I need to ask again for better specification. I was wondering if you believe long, descriptive answers and not so many in the amount of responses a day is more beneficial compared to shorter answers and a whole lot of responses in a day. My responses are not very long but are somewhat descriptive and I have been averaging about fifty per day. I make about a 1.00 on average a day depending on the circumstances.

I always try to give quality answers. I wouldn't want someone to answer one my questions with an answer that doesn't even apply. It seemed I earned more on the days I had time to really think about my answers and put a lot of thought into them. I like to help people also so I would like my answers to be appropriate for the discussion.

Oh it's quality by far. Mylot even gives each one of a hint of this each time we go to post a reply, it reads right next to the box on the left hand side..."Please be as descriptive as possible". I have learned through the process of trial and error, it pays to put time and effort into your replies and discussions. I have even done so many posts in one days times, just speeding through my replies as fast as I could, and I averaged less than a penny a post, LOL. So yes, quality by far out ranks quantity here, and it's a good thing. I like reading interesting replies, even in others discussions, rather than a simple things like .... Yes I agree. You know?

In my opinion, quality is far more important than quantity. Posting for the sake of posting cheapens the experience for everybody; and in turn doesn't really open the door for relevant and inspiring cross communication to happen. If I am to respond to a topic or post a discussion, my goal is not just to get many responses; it is to also inspire people to DISCUSS things. At least this way there is a lot of back and forth between members rather than single responses or comments that just don't end up going anywhere.

It depends on the thread. If the topic qualifies to get me going for a long run, I surely will. But there are topics which do not call for paragraphs, and most of the topics that we have here are like that. Queries which are easily satisfied by short messages, though I can still find valuable discussions here.

I don't think an answer has to be particularly long. A paragraph will do as long as it says something interesting that contributes to the discussion. A reply in one of my discussions that makes me want to say something to the responder is what I count as quality.

This was discussed before here. Just search for it also in order for further information. Still, quality must be addressed more. Quantity for me is of lesser importance. It is just like having a lot of fake friends than having a real one. Thanks

There are so many discussions here which I can hardly responds to. I am lost of words as to how to responds to one liner discussions. It is a question and expecting answers to that effect. But no matter how I go about I will never come to a satisfactory responds. We are all here for the pennies, I suppose, but having this kind of 'hit and run' discussion is totally a waste of time responding. But again having long and winding discussion can sometimes be boring and I prefer something that is well written discussion which is clear and to the point.

As much as I try to go for quality but sometimes I just can't make a quality post if the discussion only requires a one liner answer.Well If I could do both then much the better. Hope we earn a lot in mylot.

Quality of course. No matter how long is your answers if it is not direct or its not related to the questions it always useless or nonsense at all.To make your answer fits to the questions you must think of the best answers.

This really depends on the service or product. Sometime I go for the quality sometime with the quantity.

this depends on whatever your primary goal is. but if you wanna enjoy writing & making money at the same time, why not post quality contents. not necessarily long ones but ones that actually makes sense. even in replying to the responses i got, i make sure its not just a plain 'thank you'. these people took time to think and type, the least i do is to respond as if i am talking to them in person.

It depends on the product or thing you are about to do or sell... but i always prefer Quality, because on the basis of quality you can sell more and build loyality! Regards

Both! Must be balanced. Sometimes, one-liners can have more sense compared to other responses.

well for me i would rather go for "quality" cause i know that this is one of the reason why you could earn more than what you expect.,the content should be more descriptive and informative as well.,Ü don't just answer with the "yes" or "no" ... be specific and as much as possible try to elaborate for us to understand more. i know that there are lots of members here who just answer the discussions without even explaining.,you know what i mean., they just post an answer just for the sake of "numbers" ... hmmm, just hate it., well you will not more on that., have a nice day ahead! see you around! myliezl0903 manila, philippines
